We currently offer the following courses:

Chair massage is one of the fastest growing segments in the massage industry. Massages usually last 10 to 30 minutes and focuses on the neck, shoulders, back and hands. Techniques involve compression, kneading, and pressure points. More and more companies nation-wide are now offering chair massage; as a part of their wellness program, to help alleviate stress and tension, as well as an incentive for their hard work.

The workshops will run 8 hours. You will learn a full 30 minute sequence, learn various techniques using your hands, elbow, and forearms, as well as learn proper body mechanics.

Traditional Thai massage, “yoga for the lazy one,” was believed to be developed more than 2500 years ago. Techinques involve stretching, acupressure, and joint mobilization. The therapist uses fingers, palms, forearms, knees, and feet to maneuver the client into a series of yoga-like stretches. The client is fully clothed and the massage is performed on the floor. It is described as relaxing as well as invigorating. Thai massage is also beneficial for the practitioners as well, because it allows them to enter a meditative state of mind, stretch, and strengthen their own bodies while working on clients.

The intensive course will run 30 hours. You will learn a full 90 minutes sequence. The size of the classes will be limited so that I can attend to each therapist.
